Straight Guys with "Gay Voice"

In American (and Scandinavia) the gender roles have become so blurred that guys don't know that what they are doing is gay. Many times in the US I wonder if the guy I'm talking to is gay or not, but this simply doesn't happen in Eastern Europe. There is no ambiguity here, which is nice in the sense that you're never wondering if a guy who is nice to you wants your penis.

Works the same with the women too. No wondering if some girl in the club is gay. I'm sure that, even accounting for those here that hide their homosexuality, there are fewer people who are gay than in the States. American culture creates a lot of its gays, something that I've written about before. It is not 100% biological, as gays would have you to believe.

I got a lot of criticism for that post but I stand by it. Just a little bit of travel here would make it clear with your own two eyes. When Tuth wrote about "gay voice", I had to think back to a case in America. You don't find that here... ever.

I read Roosh's blog post. Part of me is not sure dudes become gay because dealing with bitches isn't worth it but, if you look at prison dudes in there they're fucking even though they never did anything like that before. They get used to it. We have these porn stores here with video rooms and dudes are getting head all the time there from ex-prisoners so maybe some guys just run out of options.

Now take a look at us. If pussy was easy breezy then what the fuck would we have to talk about all day? Why would you buy a custom suit? would you trade easy nonstop pussy for the hunt? Seriously, this is just about the only thing I've done my whole life. So the weak gay or not take it in the ass. If your constitution is that weak you have no business reproducing anyway.

An old guy said to me once when I was a kid.."Everything you do from morning till night is for pussy"

It's not gay, it's effeminate. And effeminacy is the hallmark of the homosexual male. You're aware of the distinction, but most people aren't. When the average guy tries to criticize and mock effeminate behavior, he ends up sounding like a homophobe - the only way he knows how to reference it is by 'how gay people act.' If you say anything remotely critical of effeminacy, people will take it as homophobia, and you'll get your ass canned faster than you can snap your fingers. A small part of the problem: there is no good slur for an effeminate dude besides 'faggot.' You call a straight dude that, and everyone will get their panties up in a bunch.

IMO, mocking effeminate behavior is an important part of training men to be masculine. But you can't mock effeminacy effectively any more. And if you say the word 'effeminate' people are like, huh, what? There are also straight men who are naturally effeminate, and find the demands of masculinity oppressive. "It's just not me." So they don't try to be men any more, and prefer the company of androgynes and homosexuals. Inevitably, you'll have some feminists crowing about "oppressive gender roles."

^ Pretty much this. I think that the effeminization of the American male is definitely at the center of much of this. Just to be clear: I don't mean weak projection or soft-spokenness. I mean the lispy, "gay accent." Yes, there are gay dudes who don't have this voice. The question here is why so many straight dudes do nowadays, and whether other guys are hearing it as much as I am.

For those guys talking about improving their own voices, I've written my thoughts about this in other threads. Use the search feature. I worked on my own voice (not to eliminate "gay voice," but to improve my voice support and resonance), with a voice therapist (not to be confused with a voice coach who can fuck you up, actually). I think the problem of voice is often over-simplified with issues of pitch alone. There are other characteristics in the human voice that make it interesting and attractive. You can't artificially lower your pitch that much, and it can actually be pretty bad for you in the long run to try to do so by force and habit. If you listen to certain salsa singers, they have high-ass pitched voices and sound hella manly. But let's save self-voice improvement for those other threads.

--

The thing I'm starting to think is that the self-censorship and sexual repression has so thoroughly permeated the male psyche that it's invading involuntary behaviors too. Before, guys would just avoid certain topics or talk softer to avoid offending women and their sympathizers. Now, speech patterns (accents) seem to be changing. It's probably related (directly) to women talking with a lower-pitched voice now. If you read those well-publicized articles recently, on American girls using "vocal fry" in everyday speech, you'll know what I mean. Girls are using this vocal technique to reach the lowest registers of their voice, without even thinking--they're copying each other. If you haven't read it, do it this instant. Listen to the linked sound clip.

LMAO. Don't get your hopes up. My voice sounds like shit. Better shit than before, but still shitty. I was throaty and whiny before, now I'm little more resonant and whiny. Girls love it, so I shouldn't complain. It definitely doesn't sound like gay voice, that's for sure. I have good "articulation" and "inflection," apparently.

I don't remember clowning on your voice in that approach video. [Image: link.gif]

Guys, there are vocal exercises you can do to deepen your voice. I'll drop one here:

Tilt your head back and look up at the ceiling. You're going to repeat the phrases: Ding, Dong. Bing, Bong. King, Kong.

So with your head tilted back as far as you can, say those words in your normal voice, but stress out the "NG" at the end of each word.
Once you've completed the phrases, do the same thing again, but in a deeper voice. Make sure to stress the "NG"
Now, do the whole thing one last time, but in your deepest possible voice.

Do this maximum once a day. People will start to notice that your voice has become deeper.

That's crazy, I was actually saying the opposite. I was saying you actually had a good, manly voice and that it was gay of me to notice. Funny, how you misunderstood my emoticon use. Don't get me wrong: if I was really knocking you, I would double down. But, it was meant as props on your video.

It's easy to take things out of context on here. I didn't take it personal. It made me laugh. It's all good.

I'm out here in Kuwait. Alot of Arabs say men are for pleasure women are for babies. You go back to the Greek/Roman days it's exactly the same. Christianity repressed the gay tendencies but now that western society has become more open, the society has slowly been reverting to how it was 2000 years ago. In the black community we have the downlow bothas that have the masculinity and still smash women but still do what they do with men on the DL. All our Atlanta playas know the type. With Christianity weakening in our society men are going back to that shit. It doesn't affect us playas as long as they don't touch us haha.

The cycle of disrespect can start with just an appetizer.

In the past I actually had some qualms with my voice and the way I talked. But gradually I realised that people had a different impression of the way I sound. Nowadays I usually get complemented quite frequently on my tone, and I thank it for years of singing lessons. Girls usually fall for my voice when I talk, and I make a conscious effort to take care of my voice and avoid bad habits such as talking too fast or too loud , thus loud clubs where you have to shout things over is very harmful to me, as drinking.

More and more I realise that this "player" lifestyle has lots and lots to do with disciplining yourself into good habits, even small things you took for granted, such as caring for your voice.

In slavic countries gender roles are clearly defined.Men are like men and women are like women. This is one of the reason western style feminism has found no roots and why gay parades were actively opposed in these countries.

Gay parade in Russia.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI7u8XmcgrY

Gay parade in Serbia.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUOH7nrVfys

Gay parade in Poland.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77R47IOkSlk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8BpP4zytWU

Even by extreme pressure by the EU(involving financial pressure) slavic nations refuse to accept gayness as normality.
So these countries still remain a good place for the common(preferences) hunter.
In Greece on the other hand the gay community is huge and the lobby dominates several aspects. Some foreigner girls told me it is very important for them I do not have gayish tendencies as many Greek men.

I was in Argentina for one month before going back to the States. I had no internet in my apartment so I watched a lot of reality television, which are full of gay people.

When I went back to the States, I caught myself making a couple "gay voice" jokes. I realized how easy it is to duplicate something you often see.

I also had a gay music instructor. I had to consciously block out his gay mannerisms so I didn't do them unconsciously. You can disagree that gayness is not infectious, but their mannerisms are. In the USA, a gay tipping point has been reached.

This is actually very true. A few years back, I had a super-flamboyant gay dude as my boss. Motherfucker was most patronizing, condescending bitch in the world. Despite this, I started to notice that his constant eye-rolling, loose-hand gestures, and floppy-arm gesticulations started to stick on me. I was doing this shit.

It took me a while to un-train that stuff. I probably still roll my eyes a little too much, though part of that is deliberate. It's a surprisingly effective device with girls--since it treats them as an obnoxious little child. Try it some time. It's why you often see gay dudes with hot girls. They're so dismissive and insulting to them, by reflex, that it serves as a powerful check on their massive egos.

A little off topic but not getting pussy will f*ck a guy up on some level. Sure there are guys who are messed up that are with women, but I haven't met any close to normal guys who weren't getting laid. There are almost no normal guys.

An old thread, but my 2 cents:

Guys with low T can act bitchy, and be passive aggressive. I know, as I experienced this myself. I was acting butt hurt most of the time, and was quite emotional and this made act like a woman! [Image: angry.gif]

After a short time on T, I was less emotional and just felt like a bloke. Another upside to T, is that it deepened my voice.

Apart from cultural influences in the west (i.e. lack of a proper father figure, and the growing acceptance of homosexuality), I feel that most guys are low in T and causing them to act like douches (there's also evidence of certain foods, and due to certain plastics in food containers, that may decrease a guy's T levels).
