Usually I go for blond girls.

I told her that I was worried her [post-date] summary would be something like: “He walked in like he owned the place. He wasn’t that good-looking, but he just kept talking about weird things like how many pushups he could do, and I was bored of him within 45 seconds.”

Looks like he got a soft rejection. Girl is fat, but she's hiding just how fat.

there was probably no romantic chemistry because she didn't pass the boner test. it's funny how a lot of the comments on the site is calling him arrogant because he prefer blondes like it's not okay for a guy to have preferences. there are so many haters that read datelab.

Funny. They both talked about how they were on the same wavelength, but then when it came time to step up on the second date, she says they didn't have enough in common. The bottom line is there wasn't a romantic spark, so just leave it at that. They enjoyed each other's company, and since she doesn't have anyone else trying to ask her out, just based on that she should have hung out with him again. I think she was more attracted to him than he was to her, and she knew that. The hair color wasn't a deal-breaker, but I think the body type probably was. He still seemed willing to see her again though. It would have been cool to see if he could get something to pop off by getting some liquor into her!

...His response to his "type"

She looks frumpy and annoying.

Actually seemed like a decent date. He didn't escalate (maybe he didn't know how) and probably wasn't attracted to her (as none of us probably would be). A good red pill candidate.

Had she been cuter (read: not fat), my sense is that Indian Race Troll might have escalated. He was already talking about how he likes to bounce dates to second venues. Dude might have some proto-game.

Indian dude: fairly good looking, fit, high income (patent lawyer). Tall?
Her: Fat. 31 and 2 years older. Probably a 7 when she was thin and 19. Now...

It's like the WP is actively trying to prove that high value men will date fat chicks. "If we keep pairing them off, it's gonna happen eventually, riiiiiight?"

I think Indian dude was in 5/10 mode. "I'm not really going to try, but if she gets mad freaky and starts making moves, I won't say no." With a 5, while you're talking to her, you feel like "yeah I could do this again." Once she's away though you realize she's just not worth the time when you could be pursuing other girls.

Two words: Pre-emptive rejection. The girl senses that you're not into her, and she loses interest in you because of it. Suddenly it's 'mutual.' Especially for a 7 and below, a woman's interest will fade if they strongly believe you're not into them.

Keen insight. It's 1,000 percent true. This is girl-game for the 6-and-below range. Just like bitch-face is especially harsh in the 7-and-above range, pre-emptive rejection and pump-and-dump paranoia are bigger in the 6s and down.

Why is the woman ALWAYS, ALWAYS a couple of years older than the guy?

I guess because younger girls can get dates easily and don't have to sign up for date lab .

I always assumed it was some type of social engineering on the part of whoever makes the matches. It wouldn't surprise me if it's some of those people who think that guys should be going after the "serious" women in their thirties who are more "mature" and experienced than their younger counterparts and who "know what they want."

OK Cupid blog tries desperately to make the case:

It just strikes me as funny that the current hamster-fueled pop-psych wisdom (and apparently Date Lab matching methodology) is that a man needs a woman with a little age on her. The feminist PR machine is hard at work.

I'd like to see a Date Lab match up a couple where the guy is 6 or 7 years older. (I'm sure that will be a cold day in hell.) You might see more "sparks."

Indeed, Morpheus. He didn't come across as insufferably beta like most guys on DL. Shall we send in Trinity to retrieve him?

lol 31 year old chubby wedding planner.

I guess real life is a rom com. I'm sure its only a matter of time before she finds a dark mysterious guy who understands her for 'who she really is.'
