Obviously you have to decide for yourself whether something interests you or not and is therefore worth seeing but passing up on MP, truly one of the wonders of the world, to bang some Peruvian chick is quite strange. You can fuck a chick anytime (especially a Peruana chicka), you can't see the lost city of the Inkas anytime. Seriously it's far more than some 'ruins on a hill'. Ask anyone, one of the most stunning and mesmerising things you'll ever see, it has this breath taking energy to it that I've never experienced anywhere else. It also doesn't have to 'waste' 2 nights. You can go up early morning and come back down in the afternoon.

You missed out big time.

You can find beaches and nightlife on any of the main islands. Pick the one that's easiest to get to I guess.

I agree that 2hrs is nothing, neither is 5hrs. I've been on buses for 24hrs + before. The problem is that in theory it's 2hrs. In reality it's more like 4. It'll take you the best part of 2hrs to get out of greater Bangkok due to traffic. You're running the risk of missing that flight at night if you do this on the same day you intend to fly home.

You're going to have to pipeline to have any sort of success. How you're going to fit any dates in with all this travelling I'm not sure. Usually if you get a girl on a date and get her drunk she'll fuck you, as long as you don't fuck up. Usually. Problem is sometimes the girl that turns up isn't quite as cute as the pictures she had on the dating site, she might have put on some weight since then or whatever. OP. I think you will need the God's to be smiling and your ducks very much lined up to achieve SNL's with any sort of normal local gals. It has happened for me but I was staying in Bangkok for 2 weeks and both times it was fairly random and mainly due to handy logistics.

First time I went to Thailand was only supposed to stay for 10 days, ended up spending 6 weeks.

Waste of money flying from USA to Thailand for one week, better off getting a massage and a happy ending at your local Thai massage joint.

My advice is just pick one place and focus on doing something cool while there - case in point: spend the whole week on Koh Tao scuba diving. That's the type of trip that you'll never forget, and indeed you will want to return very soon. Screw jumping around all over the place, never really getting a chance to appreciate anything. One week is not that long, and I'd really try to get the most experience out of it as possible. Or go to Koh Pangang or Bangkok and party your ass off the whole time -just don't expect to remember a whole lot of it later.

On another note, and this will be going out on a limb here for this forum, but why worry so much about getting laid for one small week of your life? You've got your whole life to get laid, and if you completely make that the point of your trip before you go and it doesn't work out you'll be walking around with a scowl on your face the whole time.

I'd just focus on having a blast and hit on anything within arm's length simply because that's how we roll anyways. For such a small window of time, expecting everything to go right or to figure it out with the locals (non-pros) is quite possibly a recipe for disappointment.

For me, it is 2 weeks. Anything less than 2 weeks is barely worth the time and hassle.
