charlotte, NC / Austin, TX

Will probably end up moving to one of these two cities. flexible job allows me to pick between the two.

as young typical single guy im looking for good to great night life (bishes to smash), chill people, beautiful atmosphere, good weather etc.

anyone been to this city or know about it? I know north carolina is a beautiful state, full of gorgeous girls etc... and so is tx.
but trying to decide which place to pick between.

one advantage NC has is there are many colleges nearby, thinking of trying to enroll in UNC to pursue a diff degree....austin has UT though. I don't think I could go wrong with either.
help me out please!

thx

Go with Austin, UT has a huge student body with some very hot girls. Also, the city is up and coming and will be continually evolving and becoming better over the years. I lived there for 9 years and never regretted a minute. I would move back for food alone because it is so damn good. If you decide to move there I would suggest South Congress or South Lamar to live in because it is the hipper neighborhoods with some of the best bars and restaurants nearby.

I shared my impressions of Austin, which I've vistited a handful of times, starting here:

http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-3892-p...#pid124715

The short version, although that thread is worth reading for venue recommendations and other details, is that Austin has bad male:female ratios, is a town where most people out at night seem to know everyone else, and is quite expensive (especially anywhere near good nightlife), and not just by low Texas standards of cost-of-living.

Never been to Charlotte, but I have been to coastal North Carolina, which is, as you may know, beautiful. That brings me to a point in Charlotte's favor: it's much closer to the ocean, and Raleigh-Durham. Austin, by contrast, is close to....other Texas cities, which in my limited experience, are not as fun, or easy to commute in.

For guys who know both towns, it would be helpful if you would share your age, race, and more info about what your priorities are. But, knowing what I know about hipster-infested, noticeably pretentious Austin, I would schedule a trip to both cities.
