The 1-10 rating system doesn't work for me. The only girls the that pass the boner-test are in the >5 zone.

So, I say we cut out the bottom part because we aren't concerned with gaming un-attractive girls.

Instead, we can rate girls as 1-4. I'd like to leave the 4 in as what used to be "10" to represent the ideal women to which no woman can compare.

The breakdown could be something like:

1- Passes the boner test.
2- Passes the boner test more than the other girls in the room.
3- Makes surrounding girls look like men. Celebrity/model hot- like the girls that Leonado di Caprio is banging.
4- The hottest woman to all men at all times.

Not sure if i agree with this system. It would mean the whole 5 to 8 range is taken by 1 and 2 in your system. Be honest, how many times do you run into a girl that has model hot/celebrity features? (8.5 to 9 range and a 3 on your list) and your number 4 is a fantasy because no girl like this exists.

I think the current 1-10 system will do for now. But to be honest the whole rating system is difficult.There's so much different factors when judging a girls looks that its almost impossible to have guys agree on it. A girl whom i rate a 6 can be a beta's 7.5 and a guy who hangs out with celebs or models all the time will give the same girl a 4

Here's the latest rating system that me and my buddies have been using.

Anything under a 5 is not fuckable, so we don't get into the differences of 1-5.

5 - Doesn't pass the boner test unless you are drunk.

6 - Serviceable. She passes the boner test when you are not drunk, but is a Plain-Jane. She improves her attractive quality greatly when she makes herself easily available for the bang.

7 - Cute. This girl easily passes the boner test. But, she's got too many flaws to fit into the higher categories.

8- These are the women who are able to make money off of being hot. There is a greater range of differences in the 8 category. At the bottom end, you have service industry-types like barmaids. At the top there are strippers, go-go dancers, actresses, etc.

9 - The higher range of 9 represents the hottest women on the planet. The 9 range consists of mostly models. They are exquisite specimens, with an exponentially lower number of flaws than the lower categories. You can only compare girls at this level to each other. It really becomes a matter of taste. Comparing 9s is like asking "Who is better, Charlie Parker or John Coltrane?"

10 - They do not exist in real life. A 10 is a flawless woman who does not age and will always be the most attractive woman to all men, everywhere. She is the archetype of beauty.

You read my mind. Just a few days ago I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking the 10-point scale is way too complicated and that in my personal notes I never use more than four points. Basically what it comes down to is this:

1-7 - all seem like a waste of space to me

8 - doable

9 - not merely doable but desirable

10 - perfection (I see girls like this about one time in four-five months; probably saw no more than twenty in entire life)

I like where you're going with this, but since you're taking this to a practical level, your 4 doesn't really exist either does she? Here's how I would break it down:

1- Girl I *would* fuck (a 6 in the traditional system)
2- Girl I *want* to fuck (a 7 in the traditional system)
3- Girl that is solidly hot. My heart rate might increase during the approach (an 8 in the traditional system)
4- Girl that is drop dead, model quality gorgeous and by all appearances, free of physical imperfections. (a 9 in the traditional system)

Don't leave out the unattainable "10" - it is probably the most important part.

This is basically how I interpret the current rating system that we use on the forum. Except for the fact that I'm a dirty motherfucker and would fuck a 5 no problem. My boner threshold is just lower than the average guys lol.

Myself, I have a three tier rating system:

1 - Wouldn't bang
2 - Would bang
3 - Want to bang

that can be expanded to five:

1 - Wouldn't bang
2 - Would bang if drunk
3 - Would bang if sober
4 - Want to bang if drunk
5 - Want to bang if sober

You can substitute "haven't gotten any in three weeks" for "drunk." I find that arguing over the difference between a 6 and 7 or between and 9 and a 10 can be a little interesting, seeing what other guys' tastes are, but it doesn't really influence my own judgment.

1- repulsively ugly-you are grossed out by even looking at her. Relatively rare

2-Really ugly

3-Standard ugly

4-Plain. Not ugly,but below average. I have banged a few 4s in my life, mostly when i was drunk and horny, but never gone below a 4. I doubt a 4 would pass my Boner Test today

5-This seems to be the most controversial ranking, with guys having widely different conceptions of what a 5 is. I think of a 5 as average- she's wouldn't be described as pretty but she is certainly not ugly either. My reactions to 5s vary a lot depending on their particular look and personality. Some 5s I will definitely bang, others not. Guys who describe 5s as ugly obviously have a different rating system than I do.

6-Cute-the classic cute girl. I would give her a second look but not think she was a knockout or be intimidated by her.

7-Pretty- 7s are noticeably good looking and get a lot of attention from guys. There is no question as to their attractiveness which is why i am mystified when some guys describe 7s as OK looking, which again makes me think we are using a different ratings conception.

8- Beautiful- A girl who turns heads and most guys and girls would describe as "hot". Unusually good looking. Maybe 4% or less of female population under 35 (at most) would be 8 or above.

9-Very beautiful- An almost flawless beauty that you have a hard time pulling your eyes away from. Maybe 1%.

10- Rare beauty-Has the looks of the 9 with something more- some special charisma or eroticism to her look. Maybe 1 in 500 at most.

Thing about 5s is that they change based on areas. I am sure a 5 in one state will probably be a 6 in another yet a 4 in some states.

5 or above = good by me

7 = definitely above average

8 = gorgeous

9 and 10 = all the guys in the room have their eyes on her

So there are several million of of them worldwide? Doesn't seem all that rare.

My rating system is something like this.

0-4 - Girls I would not bang, drunk or sober.
5 - OK looking, but more than likely has a noticeable flaw, maybe a bit chubby, odd shaped nose, etc. Would bang if I was on a couple month dry spell
6 - Girl you wouldn't necessarily look twice at, but one that would easily pass the boner test
7 - This is where the girls start to be 'worthy' of girlfriend status, dependant on personality obviously. A girl that you would be relatively happy to introduce to your friends as the girl you are banging.
8 - Men stop to look twice. An 8 needs to have a pretty face and a nice body Roughly 1/20 women are an 8 or above on my scale.
9 - A lot rarer. The stepup from an 8 to a 9 is one not many women achieve. I'd say roughly 1/100.

It's turned into the school grades system. 0-4 is an F, 5 is a D, 6 is a C, 7/8 is a B and an 9/10 is an A.

I think we also have to add passes the boner test sober, but I don't want my friends to know.

I rate on a bell curve so there are lot of 5s, few 1s, and almost no 10s. I like your rating system. I do NOT believe a girl who has extra weight can be any higher than a 5, so now there are a lot more 5 than there were 20 years ago. Today 25% of the women are over weight where 20 years ago only maybe 10% of the women were overweight. So the rating system is bottom heavy today vs. 20 years ago.
