Official Forum Guide -- New Members Read Carefully BEFORE POSTING

IF YOU'RE A NEWBIE, POST IN THE NEWBIE FORUM. IF YOU'RE NOT SURE WHETHER YOU'RE A NEWBIE OR NOT, THAT MEANS YOU'RE A NEWBIE.

If this forum had a mission statement, it would be something like this:

"Enjoying life through interesting experiences and sleeping with a lot of girls, and maybe settling down with a quality girl."

That quality girl can only be had after improving your game and playing the field, when you not only know what quality is but you know how to get it. Therefore if you have a question that begins with "There is this one girl that I really like," you will get a response that tells you to forget about her and hit on other girls. Why?

Because we believe in a model of abundance. There are tons of girls out there, and it's a waste of your time to get needy with one girl who in all likelihood doesn't hold you in a positive light because of the poor game you already used on her. Once you mess up with a girl, it is almost impossible for her to change her opinion of you, no matter how good you eventually may get.

In other words, if you have zero game, we don't want to hear your sob story of some girl who only wants to be friends with you. Game is about banging a lot of new girls, not one girl is 100% sure she doesn't want to bang you.

If you haven't done any approaches yet, you will need to study some material before you get started. There are three resources that I recommend:

The Layguide - a free resource that while dated gives you plenty of ideas to get started

Bang - a book I wrote about the game

My email newsletter - game tips i sent out every two weeks or so

Also check out the Recommended Resources thread for more suggestions.

The resources are only as good as the practice you put in. The number one determining factor to good game is to approach... a lot. There is no shortcut to it and there is nothing we can do to force you to talk to girls. You have to do it on your own. You will not get your dream girl on the first try, but after dozens of tries. It's not easy, and that weeds out a lot of guys not ready to put in the work.

While there is some theory to game that is helpful to understand, the way you get better is to go out into the field, hit a wall, and then figure out how to cross that wall. If you come to the forum with questions based on just theory without any specific examples from your experience, it will be hard to help. But for example if you talk to a girl and need a good way to get the phone number, the forum will be very helpful.

Also, a lot of guys here put the time here to answer your questions thoughtfully, so give them respect by proofreading your post and avoiding using abbreviations like you were sending a text message.

Either way, don't be scared to post your beginner question in the newbie forum. We'll lead you in the right direction. Good luck!

Emphasis on the word "maybe".

I don't want to troll, but we could put some emphasis on correct composition? I understand it serves a purpose to be lazy when texting a girl, but we're all men here. It's looking more like a social network for pubescent girls.

Hi all. My name is Bradley, 25 years old, from Johannesburg in South Africa and I am new here. Hoping to learn and get some good advice from real and experienced men. I love girls and I find myself mostly attracted to black girls, but I am scared to make any moves because I think black girls do not like white men. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

I'd suggest one addition to these two points, because I've seen it come up lately:

Don't get hostile and argumentative with guys that are merely trying to give you well-thought-out advice--based on their often-skilled assessment of the situation. They are genuinely trying to help you by telling you how it is--the truth is just sometimes kind of ugly.

If you're so insistent that your way is the correct way, you shouldn't be seeking (or needing) advice from the group.

I've noticed a lot of new members lately, which is obviously great. However, many are posting trivial things, that don't necessarily add a lot of value to the forum. I'm sure they're not all trolling, I know some are seeking help, but there's becoming a level of redundancy.

Does anyone think it would be helpful to have a new thread, sticky'd at the top, where new members would be required to make their first post? They could introduce themselves and say what their level of game is. Hopefully a thread like that would allow them to get a feel for the site before posting their own threads.

Of course, with no way to police that, you'd still get the off the wall posters (Rabit), but it might cut down on the clutter and help the people with more unique questions or difficult scenarios.

It's always been like this. Either don't reply or nicely suggest them to lurk and use the search function.

If someone is trolling, bring it to my attention and I'll ban (e.g. Rabit)

I wonder if creating a newbie subforum would help.

Oh has it? I guess I just haven't paid close enough attention, unless... I was the one making the redundant posts! [Image: blush.gif]

Anyhow, I have no problems answering the questions, that I feel capable of giving good responses too. People did that for me when I signed up, and it definitely helped.

A newbie forum probably wouldn't hurt, or if the game forum was split into "early game" and then "mid/late game" might work to?

I really like the idea of a newbie subforum, especially with the subheading that it's where new members and guys new to game ought to start. For what it's worth, you have my vote. Of course, it won't completely eliminate the problems, but it should help.

Also, have you considered deleting junk threads started by useless members (e.g., Rabit) after banning?

Maybe a sticky FAQ thread? For some newbies it is hard to use search because they don't know the terms to search for.

I think a glossary of terms/slang would be VERY helpful.

I've thought about starting a thread for this purpose but with the 1 hour edit lock out without some kind of admin help I dont see it being possible to keep the thread fresh.

If the newbie subforum does get created can we put all threads about "is she a 10, what is a 10, can I get a 10 if I'm a 5, what if she gives head like a 10, if i sleep with 10 1's is that the same as banging a 10, etc" over there?

+100

The discussions on weighing girls, especially the ones we personally post, is trite and diminutive to the purpose of the forum. One man's 9 is another man's 6 and so forth.

I disagree that a newbie subforum is needed. I'm a newbie, but I'm not 18 years old. Maybe there are some 18-22 year olds on here who need the type of advice dispensed regarding how to talk to, aproach women, etc. I do not.

That being said, there is more to this forum that just advice regarding women. Therefore, regardless of the number of posts a guy has, he will be capable, depending on his life experience, of contributing to the main forum without having to post exclusively in the newbie subforum.

Just want to chime in as thinking a glossary would be a good idea. I think I have most of the terms down but Im sure that everyone does not know what everything means. I was looking for a glossary long before I registered.
