What do you guys look for when determining whether a girl is worthy of being a girlfriend?

I need to find the girl physically attractive. I'm more of a face guy. She needs to have a pretty face.

I always try to get girls to cook for me and do my laundry and iron my shirts.

Then there's always the Door Test.

Well the first thing I notice is looks; girls, you don't get a seasonal pass to go on this ride if you're less than an 8, and a balanced 8; you can't have a 10 body and a 5 face, or a 10 face and a 5 body. I like the face to be as nice as the body in an LTR scenario.

Personality-wise, I don't like girls that are argumentative, over-educated, judgmental and opinionated. What I do like is submissiveness, modesty, sweetness, sensuality and kindness.

As for everything else, what does she bring to the table? Does she have a good circle of friends? Is she close to her family? Does she like to fuck often? Can she cook? Does she have money? These and other factors are crucial.

Now that I have more than a few notches and LTR's under my belt, attractiveness, sex skills, same interests and outlook is par for the course. It's tough enough to find these things all in one package, that a player should split the difference and engage in soft polyamory.

Currently, I look for the one thing I can't seem to get from a chick, the kind of thing you can only get from your best male friend or a dog - LOYALTY. I don't mean fidelity, but loyalty. Not compliance with your wishes and demands, but loyalty.

Fidelity ebbs and flows with your game.
Compliance as well.

You could be at the top of your game, able to pull chicks more attractive than her, and some cad will slide in when you're not looking. That's the nature of the game, because that's the nature of the woman.

But loyalty, that willingness to think about you first (as opposed to the couple, as opposed to children, as opposed to her self, her family, her friends), especially when it inconveniences her...especially when it's hard... Does she truly have my back?

Loyalty is paramount.

And loyalty is not something you discover even after a few months of being exclusive. And even after you think you have her loyalty, you can never be truly sure that she won't betray you at some later time.

There will come many times when your pimp hand wavers or she's grown accustomed to you, and her loyalty will be tested. Is it only a matter of time before she fails you in some way?

Honor, Loyalty, Character...I don't want to believe that these things are only the province of men, but my eyes and experience can lead me to no other conclusion. Indeed, I pray that my sample set is still too small.

All I can do is hedge my bets, keep my game sharp, and my assets separate. Otherwise, I would have to settle for my paltry savings and the pleasure of young women who may flow in and out of my life.

1) The seducer's dilemma - You started out wanting to sleep with hot chicks on a regular basis, but the more of them you sleep with, the less you crave the sex. You fall in love with the hunt and not the prey. You may even despise a chick after you fuck her. All of this, from a life long love of women.

2) The seducer's fate - With so many options and such a jaded view you end up choosing none.

Compare this to the hot girl (the player's equivalent) who finally finds her alpha. She gets a life to brag about, monetary support, and children out of the deal - all things he typically doesn't want.

good post but i'd argue that loyalty is a step up from fidelity. if she cheats, there's no way she can be loyal. a loyal chick would not cheat period. it's a good litmus test.

My girlfriend criteria has always been the smile. It's the best barometer I've found to see into the future how you will be treated, because they can't fake it (unlike everything else).

That sweet, radiant smile is the girlfriend. That half-smirk contrived smile will rip your @ss to shreds in 2 months. Skip it.
