Sex ratios won't be noticeable to the traveller. These stats are a waste of time.

These stats are completely useless. 15-64... are you kidding? Do you know how much variation can exist within age segments?

Yeah, wasn't clear. I meant ratios in general matter, not these stastistics.

...Anyhow, obviously there's no need to rely on good ratios if one is comparatatively better than other guys, but it can be an extra boost.

For example in Latvia, under 30 there is a surplus of men, but over 30 is a huge deficit of men. In that country, older chicks are easy.

I've noticed that men shortages start happening after 30, after they either die off due to self-destruction or move to another country for work.

Good insight but I wont get my hopes up for Iraq or the DRC becoming pussy paradises anytime soon.

Another stat to consider is percentage of homosexual men in a population. By country they are likely to be fairly similar, but most countries have cities that disproportionally attract gay men because they feel comfortable there. The proportion of lesbians in a population is almost always much lower, so a city with many gay men will be much better for straight men than the stats may suggest.

So. Check out places like NYC, San Fran, Amsterdam, Vancouver, Cape Town, Sydney etc. etc.

NYC and San Francisco have reps for having a lot more females than males, but nobody ever says that about Sydney.
