In October I decided that I needed to finally get out of the United States. I'm 18 right now and had never traveled abroad before. Because I hadn't been out of the country and all my friends were to scared to travel I ended up choosing a relatively safe, and English speaking, nation to visit. I ended up choosing Belize and staying there for one month.

Warning I am from bumfuck Iowa (my town has a population of under 2,000) so I might be kind of biased as to how cool Belize was.

Population/Country size - Belize has about 300,00 citizens and is only the size of Massachusetts. Despite it's small size there's still a lot to do when visiting.

Girls - Most of the local girls were Afro-Caribbean and the younger college aged ones were pretty hot. All of them were super friendly, and quiet a few of them even approached me. In fact getting my flag was way easier than I thought. Also there were a lot of Asian chicks, latinas, and European tourists (I K closed Sweden) who I saw as well.

Islands:

San Pedro - Only went for a day, very touristy and there were no hotel rooms available, from what I heard though there was some pretty solid nightlife on the weekends. Also you can do a lot of water activities and go shopping.

Caye Caulker - This place was kind of dead for nightlife, but awesome for activities. I snorkeled and scuba dived in the world's second largest barrier reef, also I learned to sail and got to swim with sharks. All around very cool, although bars and clubs are kind of empty during the week. Daygame with tourist girls is pretty easy though, just go hangout at the Lazy Lizard (it's a beach side bar) there were plenty of women there. Also I would suggest visiting the Hypnotic nightclub over Oceanside nightclub if you want local hotties.

Inland:

Belize City - This place is waste of time. You can go shopping here and the nightlife is meh (lot's of working girls and fugly women).

San Ignacio - I actually spent a lot of time here. The main city isn't huge, but there's a ton of cool stuff nearby. Definitely worth going to the Mayan ruins in the area, visiting the ATM caves, and hiking around the jungle areas. Also I stayed down here from December 27th to January 7th and there was a lot of partying for New Years and winter vacation. The Blue Angle nightclub was packed during this time, also on New Years Eve the city had a pretty good blockparty.

Highlights:
Capturing my Belizean flag, first same night lay, first time I tried caveman game, having a girl say "I don't have a boyfriend, where are you staying?"

As far as Eruo chicks go there were quite a few of them, I'd say in order of tourist ethnicity they were right behind America and Canada. Inland I saw a lot of them when I'd go on tours, but I never saw them just out and about, this might be because inland most people stay in more self contained resorts. The islands are the best place to meet them.
When I stopped by San Pedro I ended up having lunchtime drinks with a group of 20 something Italians (most of whom were girls) and one of the girls randomly suggested I visit Caye Caulker since she felt is was better than San Pedro.
When I got to Caulker the place was loaded with Euro girls. All of the ones I met came down in a friends group configuration thing (it was kind of weird to describe, but it was like three to five girls and two to three dudes). Most of them were there for either surfing or Diving and one of the best places to day game them was at "The Lazy Lizard", which is a beach area with a bar. At night on Caulker things start out at a bar called the I&I, there's a dance floor and stuff but most people were just seated with their groups so approaches were kind of hard (I'm still new to the game). Around midnight I&I closes and everyone has to shift over to Oceanside, this place is a thousand times easier to game. Everyone's already had a few drinks and the dancefloor actually gets people on it. A lot of the local games come here to game girls, but a large amount of them have super weak game, or just shacked up with American sluts, (I saw a ton of white girl pedestalization) also the dudes with the girls often wandered off to try and hook up with girls from other groups.
If I had to rank the Euro girls in terms of openness towards strangers, I'd put the as slightly more difficult than the locals, but way easier than American girls (whom were almost all bitches, despite being on vacation)
The easiest approach method I found was sitting down next to them and starting a conversation, most of them were really impressed that I was traveling abroad at by myself at 18. Some other good openers were asking girls for a light/smoke (Many European girls smoke so this is an almost sure fire opener, also the above mentioned Swedish girl actually brought a dog into the club with her. This was great because I just walked up and started petting the dog, and then opened into a conversation from there.
Since you're Latin I'm guessing you'd easily have some good exotic factor going (you could definitely bull shit about being from the area or something), and you're about a million times better at game than I am so I'd guess you could easily slay.
My only warning would be to go when there's some kind of school vacation/holiday of some sort. Towards the last week of January the whole place was pretty much devoid of anybody.

Yeah the women had big asses and they were big into grinding and twerking it, which was awesome.
San Pedro is possibly the busiest city due to tourism and things like that, but San Ignacio also has a lot going on. I found the women to be easy inland, especially in San Ignacio because there aren't a ton of young foreign guys visiting the downtown. In fact some okay looking ones even approached me.
My Spanish is super slow so I didn't speak a ton of it, but all the women I met were bilingual. Also they all speak creole, which is easy to pick up on and was kind of a turn on for the girls (plush gives you some cred).
As far as crime went I didn't have a huge problem, although I would recommend avoiding Belize City, they've got a bloods/crips style gang war going on. The two biggest crime elements I encountered were drug dealers and scammers. I basically just told the dealers I wasn't interested and they left me alone (I wouldn't recommend buying from them because I met a few people who did, only to have the dealers report them to the police), and when it came to scammers I ended up telling them a BS story about how I was on vacation with my FBI agent father and how he would be glad to help solve who stole their money/donate money for their families whatever (also ignoring them would probably work). I think the countries small population keeps the crime rate somewhat manageable.

I think I talked to 2 actual hot Belizeans the whole time I was there. One was in San Ignacio and the other on the bus between Dangriga and Placencia. (Dangriga might be a dope spot if you're into the black Caribbeans with big asses, I wasn't there long enough to tell.)

Even the Euro girls I was hanging with would ask the local guys, "Where are all your women?"

The Lobster Festival is the big party for the Cayes. June 15 - 23rd this year.

I did a Belize and Guatemala trip last year. The local talent is very average. I knew this would be the case in advance so brought a girl. Your best bet will be finding a fly tourist. I saw more attractive girls walking the streets of Medellin in 10 minutes than in both these countries in two weeks. However, if you want scenic beauty they both have a lot to offer and Guatemala is super cheap. I can't speak to ease of locals since I was occupied but was gettting constant bang me eyes.

During the first ten days of my trip (which were Dec. 28 - Jan. 8th) there were quite a few hot girls. Yes there were a lot of average and ugly ones too, but they were at least negated by the fact that a lot of hot college girls were home. I was also in San Ignacio during this time (which is this best place to go if you're looking to flag)
San Ignacio had the following perks (for me at least):
-Almost no gringos, this really helped to raise my exotic factor (I'm white).
-Women were friendlier than anywhere else I went
-Larger population than Caye Caulker

As far as pointers go I'd throw out these:
-The hottest girls are still gameable because they're very friendly and won't shut you down right away.
-Dress nice, all the local guys wear ecko and gold chains. So a nicer outfit really makes you stand out.
-The girls really didn't get sarcasm that much, so I had to make more obvious jokes
-Get a room in the city and near the clubs
-Being cocky works pretty well, caveman game got me some good responses

Here's how I ended up getting my flag:
New Years eve I went to the Heineken block party, there was a sizable number of hot girls here. I ended up grinding on a cute latina all night, but towards the end of the night her sister inadvertently cockblocked me because she was throwing up and had to go home. By this point the crowd was dying down anyway, so I left the party and made my way to the Blue Angle nightclub. The place was still pretty crowded and 100% locals, but I was there a little too late because everyone else was paired up. I ended up getting a drink and walking around the club for a bit, when I spotted a good looking black girl sitting all alone. I walked up to her and opened with "You're having a hell of a time." (turned out she had to much to drink we ended up chatting and it turned out she went to a nearby university and was home for break. I hung out with her until the club closed and then we exchanged numbers. The next night we went met at the same club. She ended up twerking on me for a couple songs, before she switched to grinding on me with the front of her body. At this point I went caveman and just kissed her, she was a little shy about it, but started making out with me when the song ended. I took her home that night, because my room was closer than walking all the way to her place, and bang! flag captured.

At the start of the thread I did warn that this was my first trip outside the states and I am from a place where girls aren't super hot anyway. I do agree that there were a lot of "meh" girls, but for the first part of my trip things were pretty good. Also I have heard that Columbia and Brazil are way better for women. In no way do I think that Belize was a pussy goldmine, I was just reporting on my experience. Although I would recommend stopping by (if just for the sight seeing and scuba diving) if you're already in Central America).

Yeah, that jives with my experience in San Ignacio. Good on you for finding the locals' club and not sticking to the ones where the backpackers hang (Faya Wata or whatever it was called).

I'm from the heart of Beta America. Where I grew up the total population of my hometown is 2,000 and the nearest town is 20 miles away. So it's pretty isolated. Basically I went to High School with about 150 kids for the whole school (and only 28 in my graduating class), so there weren't a lot of diverse friends to choose from. Most of them are pretty much content with living in the same town all their lives and marrying their high school and college girlfriends.

When I asked around if anyone wanted to go with me, only two of my friends even wanted to. But one had to go do army training and the others parents thought we'd get killed, so they forbid him from going. Also I had just started college, so I didn't really want to invite someone I didn't know, and then have them turn out to be a huge douche.

There were some pretty cute Asians, and while there weren't as many of them as black girls or latinas there are still quite a lot of them. Almost every convenience store/grocery store down there is owned by the Chinese, so you will run into a lot of Chinese girls. The only two downsides that I found were these: I never saw one in a club and the ones that I tried daygaming were pretty straight laced (i.e. didn't have a real sense of humor, weren't very conversational). I'm still new at game so I'm sure that a more experienced hunter could have banged one.

So I've been traveling a bit the last few months with wifey, and recently moved back to NYC for some business. Spent some time in Belize, and thought I'd throw some more info in here.

Summary - Belize is a beautiful country, great spot for tourists, lots of cool locals, hot tourists, an occasional local stunner, but not the hottest local women in the world. When traveling here keep your wits about you, especially in Belize City, and don't expect luxury accommodations.

Trip Report -

First of all, all of Cookie's info above is good, and I don't have anything to add on San Pedro, San Ignacio, or Belize City. Although I get the feeling that Belize City, as sleazy as it looks at first, could be a cool discovery for the adventurous type.

Caye Caulker - We spent a couple weeks in this tiny island, and it's just a real chill, laid back place great for meeting tourists and locals, snorkel, swim, drink, and get to know everyone on the island in a few days. I met a cool expatriate from Brooklyn who has the rundown on the whole island - look for Charles the 'Budgetman' selling coconut rice and shrimp near the beach and tell him I sent you.

Anyway there were more women than men here (about 60-40), and I get the impression it would be real easy for a seasoned player to pick up here. I was with the wife, so none of that for me, but we met a ton of fly girls in packs of 2 and 3. Pictures below of some cute argentinian tourists we met in Belize as well as sunset from the island and swimming with sharks and manta rays.







We met tourist girls on the island from Dutch, US, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Argentina, Israel, etc.

As far as nightlife, there's basically two clubs, Oceanside and I&I. They each host parties a few nights a week, and I&I had a few hot local girls as well as tourists and local guys trying to pick up the tourist girls.

During the day, hit the Lazy Lizard like Cookie said, tons of people hanging out and drinking, and cheap food. What's cool is that the island was split in two during a hurricane, so from the beach here you can swim across to the other, less occupied side, and explore a near-empty beach with tons of huge iguanas, cool fish, etc.

Hopkins
A chill little fishing village further south in Belize (the public transportation in Belize, like Guatemala, is chicken buses on mostly unpaved roads). Very quiet place, great spot to bring a girl, not as good for pickup. Lots of burned out American expatriates here, some of them have real cool stories to tell. Can get a cheap cabana by the beach for around $30/night.

Dangriga
Got a real bad feeling about this place, people seemed really on edge, cursing and fighting with each other on the street, begging aggressively for money or work, not much to do. Don't know what it was about the place, but seeing as how I was with my wife, we split quickly. Although it could be an undiscovered gem for a lone traveler, I did see some of the finest Belizan talent on the streets.

Conclusion
Like I said, a beautiful place to visit, great place to take a girl away from the corporate touristy resorts of the Caribbean. Not the best place for local girls, but you guys could easily pull a few hot tourists on Caye Caulker.

Belize also has one of the best beers I've ever tasted, Belikin, as well as a hot sauce that blows away Tabasco, Marie Sharpe's. Perfect for souvenirs.

One more place I forgot to mention is Sarteneja, another small town in the north near Mexican border. A sleepy little place without too much action, but also nice spot to take a girl. They have a few hotels and a backpackers just outside of town.

The backpackers is run by a cute french girl named Natalie, its basically a stoners heaven. We mostly stayed in hotels, but Sarteneja is so quiet we figured we'd go to the backpackers, which has a restaurant too. Two cute hippie French girls were staying there as well. Real cheap place, around $20 US /night.

The wheels are turning. The shutdown finally caused us to not come in. Making scheme on making as Belize run. I have a car I want to flip. Already connected with some family I can trust. Just need to open a bank account. Tomorrow is all research, getting a tune up and new tires, and getting in contact with the fam. The I will decide tomorrow night if I should make the run or not.

If I leave Matamoros at 6am, I can be in Villahermosa by 9pm. I really dont want to drive in the Soutb at night so we will probably sleep. Or party haha. From Villahermosa to Chetumal MX which is on the border of Belize is another six hours. Should be on the border by 1pm. Cleared by 3pm. My family is in Belmopan which is the capital and about three bours from the border. We have a house my Grandmother left the family there.

Here is the kicker. I can start an account, drop the car off, and get on an over night bus to Cancun on Monday to fly out Tuesday afternoon. Cancun to San Antonio tickets are 250 for a direct flight. Get picked up and ready for work on Wednesday if the shutdown stops. If we are still locked out, I can party in Cancun till Sunday. International swagger I think is still in Playa so I can meet with him. Or just post up in Belize can try to find a buyer myself and party.

Right now I am 60% sure about going. Once I get assurance that I wont be punished for not showing for work on Monday or Tuesday if we start up again that will bump me up to 80%. My boy who will get intel from the border tomorrow is riding with me and we be the translator just in case the Feds want to shake me down at some the the check points in Mexico.

Any Mexican players have intel on how the south is at night? My Dad drove last Christmas but ended up getting a hotel outside Veracruz. My car isnt too sexy, isnt a black SUV or a truck so the cartels or little gangs should fuck with it. I might pick up an Xterra next month for my trip but defidently will stop at night.

Just got back from Belize on Tuesday. My family is from there so we are pretty connected. Didn't hit any tourist spots. No island for me. Maybe saw 6 tourist my three days there.

The country has seven major towns then was Cookie was describing which are the islands and coastal towns. A Belizean can be a Mayan, Spanish, Coolie (Indian of India descent), Creole (black,white, Spanish decent), and black. Creole and black are the majority.

The women are okay. You see some bad bishes around but the average is 5-6. If you like dark chocolate then you will love it down here. It is weird comparing Houston to Belize because our women in Belize aren't fat. Kinda wold. Seeing the color variance is beautiful. Reminds me of the Brazilian favelas. Hearing their accent is also sexy.

Logistics is different. The buses slowly travel to the town you may want to hit. No real rental car service unless you hit the city or maybe the capital. Corozal is the border town. Town is dead at night. Have three decent bars but one is a ho spot. I was surprise the town had one. I ended up in Orange walk which is forty minutes south. The poppin spot is called Hi5. There is a bar on one side and the club next door. One thing about the North is it is mostly Spanish. The women are cool and dress to impress. One thing I notice about Belizean women is they love to stunt. Rarely see women dress casual when stepping out.

Didnt get the lay. The girl that was into me had cute face, nice ass, great body but breathe was stank. Couldnt get past it. The younger one could get it 4sho. We got back to my hotel and they referenced the hot tub on the roof but that comment was suspect. I met these chicks at the hotel restaurant, they smiled and waved, so I stepped up. Could have been pros but I didnt think so. At that time I was still wondering so decide to sleep instead of trying to push something.

I drove down to Punta Gorda. It is the southernmost major town. I stayed ay my uncles 400k house. The town has maybe 10k so everybody knows everybody and all the dirt that happens. I couldn't mess around witbout the town knowing so I have to choose wisely. Ended up kickin it with a family friend all both nights I was in town. There are three spots to hit. The PG sports bar, the Embassey, and one other spot. Fights break out but usually between women and never shots or stabbing occur. I saw three fights my first night and three my second. Small town shit.

Cover is 5bze at most spots, drinks go for 3bze. The Belizean beer is Beliken and rum is One Barrel. Hotels vary between 60-120bze. The exchange rate is 1USD/2BZE.

Overall Belize is laid back. Dont come for the women. Come for the hiking, islands, cayes, and tourist. You still can find locals that are worth the smash but I would rather hit DR for some local pussy. There is momey to be made out here. That is the main reason for this trip. I will be back next month for a ten day stay. May hit some tourist up if I have a chance.

Side note: Do not hit the city. Shit is crazy there. Begging, stealing and killing. Nobody I talk to from any of the town go to the city. Dudes dont know how to act out there. I guess it is similar to Watts LA, 9th ward of New Orleans, or parts of Houston. Alot of performers avoid the city and hit the towns. Orange walk had a huge Jamican performer and PG had one also. The money is in the city but it isnt worth it. Then again we have players who is up crazy towns and say there is no problem. Remember I have driven through Mexico and talked to alot of locals.
