I regret to have to start with this:

*VERY DANGEROUS
Zeta Cartel is warring with the Gulf Cartel so I'd suggest waiting til things cool down before visiting

Due to the narco's fucking up so much business, some of my info might be outdated due to more closures

Even in the "safe" area in the south, a traffic cop was capped in rush hour

Cops in centro have to wear masks so narco's cant I.D and kill them

This is where they hang bodies off bridges for morning traffic to see

As well, you probably heard about the casino fire in August where 50+ people were killed because protection money was not paid (apparently they did not even intend to kill, they just wanted to scare but the fire grew too quickly)

Its REALLY fucking sad because say, a club where the waiters deal coke gets shot up by rivals, the club closes, as might the surrounding clubs, and the effect trickles down to the poor parking lot attendants and taco vendors who now have no customers (as happened to El Infinito mentioned below)

I heard of a freaking weed dealer getting capped. For selling weed on the wrong turf. WTF.



Getting there

Quick flight from Houston

Continental sometimes gives better prices when you do a return trip from the same 1 city

AA is usually the cheapest for 1ways

VivaAerobus (similar to Southwest) flies to Houston, San Antonio, Miami, Orlando & Chicago for sometimes as low as $200ish R/T

If you're in Cancun to bang some airhead gringas, a side trip will cost you $100ish 1 way on Viva, or a bit more on Interjet

Bussing it from Houston, Austin, San Antonio is also doable BUT DO SO ONLY IN THE DAYTIME (due to stories about night bus hijackings)

Where to Stay:

- IStay in Barrio Antiguo is pretty cheap (owned by Intercontinental who own Holiday Inn) - $40ish
But - the area may not be too safe at night sometimes.
In 2010 armed gang went into the Holiday Inn nearby and held up staff asking for a certain guests room info then kidnapped him. That was targeted, not some random tourist shit, but still, not something you wanna be in middle of

- The #1 rated hostel Monterocco just closed their doors due to narcos fucking with tourist traffic but you might be able to get them to open since the owner lives adjacent. He plans to sell it.
Located in a safer area but not really walkable to anything

- Valle hotels are safer, and more expensive

Food

Skip this part if you want to cut to chase

My upbringing with Mexican food in the U.S and Canada was always Taco Bell, ground beef home made tacos, and heavy cheese & cream messy shit like enchiladas

FUCK that
Mexican food is amazing!

(I dont fuck with pork, if you do, you will be in fat boy paradise!)

- Arrachera tacos (skirt steak) AMAZING. Always go for Al Carbon (their version of charcol) when you get a chance vs the flat grill (My fave spot is Alfaro)

- Every Sunday you can smell the carbon all through the city as thats carne asada + family day

- Breakfast tacos! (everywhere on the streets). Why can't we have these north of the border? Picadillo, TInga, Barbacua, Eggs & sausage, Eggs & nopales (cactus), beans, etc. and CHEAP

- Hamberguesa al carbon (everywhere on the streets - basically BBQ burgers) Its standard to put a piece of ham on the burger with cheese, usually with mayo, mustard & guac

- H.E.B & Soriana (grocery stores) have tasty dishes in their deli's

- Chicken salad tostada's (so fucking fresh and tasty - never was a dish I would seek, but glad i found it)

- The tortilla chips and all salsas are made fresh daily here and fucking great

- Even the tuna salad I had, had some kick

- Cabrito (their famous regional dish) Basically a kid goat split and put on a spit. A bit pricey. Tried it once for like $15 a portion. Was underwhelmed. Tried it another time in a sandwich and enjoyed that much more

- El Pollo Loco is actually from Monterrey

- Lots of sushi there but I did not try because we're not close to water

- More Carl's Jr per capita than any American city I'm told.

- Can find Chili's, IHOP, BK, KFC, etc everywhere as well, 7-11 too (+ Starbucks, Walmart, etc)

GET A PHONE
You need one to game

Most girls I met are on Telcel, a few on Nextel.

Telcel is most common and they sometimes text you promos where if you buy minutes in the next 24 hours they'll double it. I tried once and didnt get double. Not sure if its my bad for not understanding the fine print?

Oxxo (7-11's big competitor) has phones for as low as $25ish on sale with a little credit included (on sale now for about $18ish!)

I have noticed that the girls can be flakey like Colombia but it's not anywhere as bad

Barrio Antiguo (The old town club district):

- El Flow (Reggaeton, Hiphop) *was shot up a month after I was there

- Cafe Iguana (Legendary Rock Club) *was shot up a week after I was there and is closed but plans to reopen. The shooters came back and took the bodies a few minutes after. WTF

- Nexxus (Tribal, Reggaeton, etc)

- Next (Electronica, pop)

- San Pedro (Electronica)

+ went to other electronica and reggaeton clubs in the area - all within walking distance (sorry, cant remember all the names)


Outside Barrio Antiguo:

- Pepper Bar (High End Club)
- Dubai (High End Club)
- Privatt (High End Club)
- George (High End Club)

- Also went with this fiiine girl to a corny live music place where they did covers and was getting eyed by other girls. Didnt close so mad at myself for not trying to break away and grab #'s


Again, same latin america night styles you read about here - maybe less hard to penetrate groups of girls than in Colombia (in centro anyway, harder in the rich clubs)

The Fresa's in the high end clubs are extremely hard to game, unless you penetrate their social circle. Even then not easy.

White boy good looks will help as well I'm guessing as they dont seem to like "darkies" like me based on an inherent class/skin separation as found in The Phillippines, India, and of course all over South America)

All in all,

I have nothing really to brag about - did just ok over the course of a few months:

- Banged 3 strippers whom I befriended (1 had the biggest ass I've encountered, hardly any body fat, 1 was one of the finest girls I've been with all my life).
Passed on a few more whom I befriended because of their possessiveness
One I passed on because nicotine and her tongue ring and lack of hygiene produced a foul fucking odour

I'd say this is moreso for non-Fresas - Fresas werent always easy to break through with

Got a few numbers that were not responsive via text (maybe even fake numbers?)

Humour, and a fluent-Spanish speaking wingman who was charming (but not creepy or cockblocking) helped me break through almost always with the mestizo & moreno girls (my Spanish is not good so I needed the help)

Just went out from 1130 to 3 am on a saturday night in Monterrey.

The first thing that you have to know is that barrio antiguo has some new law that the bars must stop serving or close at 1 am. So it was virtually dead on a saturday. Here i am talking about the old colonial section and downtown. My friend said that the night before was pretty hoppin when he went out around 10pm but that was at a popular plaza with a pond called Santa Lucia. Its within walking distance of barrio antigua.

So we took a cab to "San Pedro" section of town. There they can still stay open late. It was kindof upscale. Places had $6-$20 cover charges, but they seemed to be selective, so if you are dressed to impress you might get a discount. I was with 2 latin guys and we may have been not up to snuff, 2 places wouldnt even let us in right away. I cant stand that sort of place anyhow personally. But if you are into the fresa thing, there were plenty of 7s and even enough 8s and 9s sprinkled in to satisfy most guys I guess.

We wandered around looking for a normal bar with girls and ended up taking a short taxi ride to a place called Society Restaurant and Bar. Here was more of the hippy/ rock crowd I like. There wasnt a load of chicks but between that place and the huge irish pub next door I managed to find a few sets. I ended up number closing with a very attractive rock climbing chick, and we have plans to go to the park tomorrow...we´ll see.

I used to work at a hotel, and there had to have been about 5 times when I would look up to a girl walking in, looking drop dead gorgeous, I would ask her where she was from, expecting the response to be Argentina or Brazil (We had lots of guests from those two countries) but I found myself surprised when the girls replied, "Monterrey, Mexico." In addition, the abortion pill, misoprostol or cytotec is available over the counter at pharmacies for about 1500 pesos ($120-$150 US). It is administered by being placed directly in the vagina. The pill does cause a lot of bleeding as the fetus is removed and it's best to be with the girl during this process to ensure she is alright.

Also: first-trimester abortions are now legal in Mexico City.

There is no reason to be scared about putting a cream pie in a beautiful latina pussy.

I agree with this, only reason i am here is because the city is loaded with money and i got a somewhat well paid job here.

The girls are pretty indeed, however i have always found the city (and the girls) too focused on status and money, so if i you are not good looking or rich you have no chance, but being new to the game i have not really tried that much doing cold approaches. I was hoping some member giving some tips.

Yes it is very unpredictable and is more dangerous than most cities I have ever been. Also, one of the coolest, most exciting cities I have ever been. Hit two malls up in Monterrey. Did maybe 10 approaches. A few FB contacts. Smashed a stripper after the club went out.

Its crazy how the women sit there stare and smile but when you step up they have boyfriends. Out of the few FB contacts I got maybe one is a solid prospect. O well.
