Anybody on here ever goes to musical concerts to game?

This post just inspired me to create this thread
http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-10020.html

I will probably count in hands the few concerts in my life that i have been to. Matterfact i probably have been to just one concert (Parangole was the main act on it- this was in Salvador, i had a wild time).

I always told myself that it is ridiculous to go to a concert, mainly due to the prices that they charge in concerts. Also i dont like mainstream acts and if i was going to a concert, im going there to see one of my favourite underground rappers.

However i just noticed that im probably ignoring the main advantage of going to a concert (GIRLS) and im also ignoring the quality that can be pulled there.

Also, the type of girls you will meet in concerts, you will hardly see them in nightclubs or even walking in the streets (strange but true). Im not a speciality in concerts but me and my boys used to run to many concerts and just stay outside the event and approach every girl that was coming out, so i know that the quality from there was another level.

I want to hear from you players out there specialised in hitting concerts to hit on women. Is that something that im definetely sleeping on?

If you like hipster, goth, or punk girls check out your local scene. Find out where there are venues they usually charge like 10 bucks for a show, most girls go there, get fucked up and bang, especially at house shows, you kind of have to be into the music too. Unfortunately most of the time the people there are dull as shit, their life consists of getting fucked up.

Most concerts where the music is actually worth listening to are disproportionately male. The only concerts that are going to have a lot of girls are lame pop music, boy bands, etc. Overall, I'd say that if your goal is getting pussy, concerts are generally not the best way to go about it. You'd get a better return on investement in other venues.

This scenes are usually almost all dudes with the exception of the one or two girls who are there because "their boyfriend got them into the music".

Festivals are your best bet. But yeah, I wouldn't go to a concert to only mess with girls. Go for the music and do it if you can.

big festivals where girls are tipsy/hammered are easy.

in chicago there's a festival called old st. pat's where the whole purpose is meeting the love of your life...for one night at least.

How are you gonna talk to girls during a concert? The music will be loud and you won't have her attention since she paid good money to see the show. Maybe when everyone is leaving you can try and hit a girl up and get a venue bounce. Something outdoors like Coachella fest,(or something similar) might be better though.

What about going to a concert of Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel, Movado or Machel Montano? I've been to a few minor fetes and it's been absolutely teeming with lizards.

In terms of talking to them a la speakeasy's statement, the same principle applies as per chatting to a reptile in a nightclub.

True, there are the coathanger girls (girls who hold their boyfriends coats while they go into the pit or something). But from the few shows I've been to in BC they have had a surprising amount of slutty girls there. Still its hard to break into their scene.

I’m kind of surprised at these responses as I’ve always found gigs a fertile location for meeting girls, and better quality ones than most other places at that. The kind of place to go for is the basement-bar type venue with a bunch of unknown bands playing and young girls in the audience, or the kind of house event that’s on its way to being a house party. I guess you need some kind of connection to the scene, but it’s not hard to make one if you just turn up and act friendly. Generally it’s best to fly solo for this so you don’t have anyone cramping your style. There’s nothing particularly unusual about being at a gig on your own.

Get chatting to various people and scope out which girls are showing some interest in you, then talk to them. Minimal approaches are best, you don’t want to look like a sleaze. The great things about gigs are that opening is a cakewalk and girls’ shields are way down compared to what you’d find in a club or bar. Once you’ve got a girl hooked, bounce her to another bar after the music’s finished (doesn’t matter if her friends come along or whatever). Then just keep escalating with more bounces or going back to yours/hers until she resists, in which case get the number. After doing at least one bounce there should be enough connection that she doesn’t flake.

As for ‘how do you talk to them’… there should be plenty of opportunities between bands/sets, at the bar, and outside. If the music's playing loud, dance with them a bit then take them aside. If you’re going to see well-known bands in established venues, then yeah these are not good for meeting women at all. Go for places that are free or the price of a drink for entry and have five or six bands on the bill.

I don't go to concerts with the intent of gaming or picking up, generally I'd rather focus on the music and the vibe. Mass bitches at Jack Johnson and John Mayer shows, though. Ben Harper would probably be another.

Unless you catch a chick in between sets when there grabbing beer or going to the bathroom. Concerts are not ideal to game. Epescially the classic rock shows I go to, its mostly filled w/ old people and any cute girls there are usually with BFs or are in HS attending w/ their parents (not down with the statutory).

I went to a Roger Daltrey concert last year and wore a "Mick & Keith" t shirt. I had 4 people come up to me and comment about what a cool shirt I had on. Problem was the 3 women were fugly and easily over 45 and one dude....No thanks.
