Not in girls' nature to approach IMO. They will sometimes, but IMO it's the "bonus round". The closest consistent scenario is extended social circle where you're top dog and girls who are friends-of-friends are vying for you.

A good idea is to figure out how to be an investment-worthy guy. I.e. the sort of guy they want to invest their time and attention and effort in. You still have to approach, but you can absolutely get to the point where once you've shown them how awesome you are, they're doing most of the work.

Am I the only one that is reminded of Charles Bukowski's "Women" when reading this?

That is basically how his character (or alter ego, who knows) ends a 5 or so year dry spell... he gets famous for writing about fucking... and girls because of that want to fuck him... which in turn gives him more fuel and material for him to write about... and so it snowballs into this huge ejaculatory mess...

I bought that book, but never got into it. I will return to it now that I know what it's about.

Good thread. If you think about the issue more broadly, you might get some solutions.

It's a fact that when you are stationary, and it is the woman who has moved to you, you will have higher value than if it were the other way around. Roissy/Heartiste posted a link to a study a while back that found that in speed dating, when the women moved and the men stayed in the same place, the women said yes to more men, than when it was the men who had moved. So even if the woman did not formally 'approach' you, but moved near you, you will have higher value than otherwise. When someone comes up to you, you feel like the more powerful, desirable one. The subjects approach the king, not vice versa.

Roosh said he likes to sit in one spot and holler at the chicks who enter his vicinity, which is putting this principle in action. It's handy to find a nice landmark in the bar, where chicks are drawn to, but it's not too loud or distracting.
