I would venture to say that a majority of representatives on the hill have side pieces. It's a perk of the job. Most of their families are back in the home district, while they go back and forth to Washington. Many of them have side chicks in the Capitol - hell...some of them have set them up in apartments, etc. Most of them are hypocrites. It's all about piling on the guy that gets caught. Remember Garry Condit, who was fucking a young intern who ended up dead in Rock Creek Park? If she hadn't gone out jogging in the park when she did, she would have been gone from Washington and the affair may never had surfaced. But when she disappeared, a relative that she told spoke up, thinking maybe Condit had something to do with it. Henry Hyde, another who was instrumental in the impeachment of Clinton, had some of his own dirty business come to the surface because he got a little too high on his soap box during the witch hunt. A cuckolded husband spoke up about Hyde's affair with his wife some 30+ years earlier. When asked about it, Hyde called it "a youthful indiscretion." He was about 40 years old at the time of the affair!
