Yes, in addition to a whole gaggle of other "minimalist" shoes. They're not a panacea, and the "research" Vibram claimed doesn't support any substantial benefit.
They are light though, which is nice. Outside of squatting and pressing, i wear flip-flops and Sanuks, sometimes even go barefoot, for all my other training. This includes HIIT (which does not include running - for reasons mentioned above).
