They are called "Dirt Cookies"....and yeah that is sad...but b4 ppl look down on Haiti and cast bad light...Haiti is a symbol of freedom for all African ancestry who survived the dispora and slavery. They were the first African ancestry to successfully end slavery, gain freedom, and become a democratic republic ruled by african descent...and on the way they kicked out the Spanish, British, and French armies (Napoleon Bonaparte)..their punishment for this was economic embargo and abandonment by europe and the united states...and it didn't help that Bill Clinton crushed the Haitian economy with cheap farm subsidies for what is essentially agricultural based economy....if you get interested learning something new...read books about Toussaint L'Ouverture...good stuff...
