One of my proudest moments up to that point in my life was pulling of a darkslide at my high school yard during a break and with the skating cadre of the place around to see it. We were all into Rodney Mullen at the time so this move really made waves. I would play it down massively and never attempt to repeat it in front of a lot of people as the first successful slide was 90% luck!
