Usually in my gym chicks use the ellipticals a lot. I don't do either, but if I see a cute one WITHOUT HEADPHONES and it works into my routine in general (I throw 5-10 minute spurts of cardio in occasionally to get myself energized), I'll ask her if the machine really helps, compared to treadmill, etc., and start elderly from there.
Unfortunately the gym I go to is full of 30s govt workers and army guys in their 40s who've been lifting since the gulf war. My routine was solid back in my old gym which was more open, but here I've literally had more success with the receptionists than I have with the patrons. And both has been virtually nil.
I need a new gym. I'd try the one at my community college but it's full of skinny wannabe bros.
