She was placed on paid administrative leave. The district is following due process and she is not losing any money. There is no employment violation. The longer they ice her out, the more likely it is she will just resign. They may come to an agreement where she will resign and everything will be dropped.

When it comes to firing, the district would have some latitude. Her infamous notoriety will cause a disruption to the classroom learning process, which renders you an ineffective teacher.

The state licensing agency could also revoke her license. Each state has their own rules and different variations of what is allowed and what is not, and they all generally reference a vague set of “morals”. So you could engage in behavior that is not necessarily illegal, but could still be found to be immoral. It would not be a hard case to make that engaging in porn and having the whole school seeing you take a big cock up your ass would be an immoral act. For another example, in some states you cannot have sexual relations with a student until two years after they graduate. So if you had a sexual relationship with your former student who was a 1-year graduate from high school, is now in college, and 19 years old, would you be breaking the law? No. Would the police investigate? No. Would you lose your teaching license and be fired? Yes.
