"TRICK TO CLEAN SAPPY RESIDUE OFF GEAR.....MUD..yes i said mud..common ordinary wet sand..with bare hand rub mud on gear..after a few seconds of rubbing then rinse...clean..not sticky!! no scrubby or soap needed...give it a try. it works!! learned this from David Canterbury...i do this every time i use my gear..clean and nice..no residue in pack..no scrubbing needed..will not scratch up like steel wool..."

This also works on skin when out bush... and on hippy festival doof dwellers. Just a bit of extra sand for the snatch may be required!
