Well, I'll caveat this by mentioning the group dynamic/herd mentality. A pair of 2 women traveling together is much different than a pack of 6. Even if there is one girl that's more approachable, good luck getting access to her if a group is too large.
Is it me or are American girls (tourists) abroad more approachable?
