Poland is already what Ukraine will be in a few years: a member of EU and NATO.

There's no way Ukraine can muster up the competence to get anywhere near EU or NATO.

Its most likely future is probably something resembling present day Georgia or Moldova, complete with the same frozen conflict zones, but 10 times the size.
