Some China documentaries are saying it's 150:100 (M:F) ~ in terms of finding a marriage partner. They're not talking about casual FWBs or screwing around that is the norm in the west.
In the west it has to be 100 men for every woman 7 or higher. Have to remember every guy from age 18 - 38 (up to age 50?) wants a 18-20 year old female (but the older ones might be embarrassed to admit to it because of social shaming).
As you kind of implied - 7/10s and higher are getting rarer in the west because of obesity and aging demographics. Unless you creep around on University campuses ~ you can go weeks in public without seeing any young HBBs 7/10+.
