I think their question is more pointedly (can't speak for everyone) about "landing" a quality woman, not just fucking her. That's part of the complaint; most of them are only worth fucking, and how long does that take and how boring is she? (Answer: very, on average).
Men like me who are in shape and do well infrequently come across these types because, right or wrong, the only ones that seem to be worth such a commitment are well raised 18-25 year olds. Combine properly raised with age gap and people look at you like your batshit nuts. Even people that got married at age 23 over 50 years ago somehow think a successful, non-fat guy should white knight a 30 year old or older carousel rider who is rapidly approaching spinster status. It's just dumb.
