Not that this scale is about what attracts you, not what the commentators on RVF or elsewhere think about the girl (or old woman, if you go for that). Some type 1 women might be HB10's in the eyes of other men, but her personality clashes with yours.
Cases 1 and 3 are easy. Case 2 is what you have to watch for. Beginners may be forced to select type 2 girls to get experience. Or perhaps beginners can't tell the difference between 2 and 3. Experienced men should avoid type 2.
