I recommend day game because women are just more polite at that time and when they're not drinking it's more rare to encounter such rude behavior. In my opinion day game makes the game more fun because senarios such as you described effect my night, but then again the only reason I go to the club is to look for girls so perhaps my goal driven attitude there stops me from having fun.
