Venti's beta followers are posterboys for the low-expectation beta who's self worth is so piss poor that he can't even bring himself to worship at the pedestal of a natural 8 rather than a heavy-makeup-perfect-lighting-padded-bra 7.
This phenomenon is not new. I believe its first modern instance was in the show Beverly Hills 90210 where they implanted a very plain girl in the series supposedly because the main female characters were so hot that the lowest value males in the audience were dropping out of the viewership due to the fact that they couldn't plausibly build a fantasy around a woman with an SMV that high.
Looking back at 90210 is a bit of an eye-opener. Even at her prime, in this day and age Shannen Doherty wouldn't have been able to crack 100k Instagram followers based on her looks. Jennie Garth was pretty much the show's female flagship for quite a while and even she would struggle in today's high stakes THOTsphere.
But getting back to the point. Venti doesn't have an audience because she's hot. She has an audience because she's just the right amount of ugly to cater to guys with extremely low self esteem. The kind of guys that would dump 10k in her lap from a thousand miles away just for the fleeting chance at engaging in some impossibly distant personal interaction with her.
