Even with an ongoing show of 20 odd something years and fuck you money coming out of the ass, the Simpson team rolled over for a small minority of whining harpies and soyboys. This tells me the show reached a new degree of stale that's been growing for nearly two decades. Also relevant is the show creators are baby boomers. Their politics are outdated and public opinion holds more influence over them than it does over the new breed of Chads and shitlords. They have a baby boomer '90s mentality that prioritizes the bottom line by grabbing and appeasing the biggest audience they can over making quality work.
