It depends on the city. In Toronto a 10-15 minute drive away from a club is close. That won't impede your game at all, especially with Uber being readily available at any time. If you live in the suburbs, that's a problem. I could see being walking distance helpful if you like having the afterparty at your place but that's not my game.
