Some girls here can be extremely rude, its not because they are rude they are just insensitive and think its funny pointing out other peoples flaws. Some people that have very low self esteem want others to treat them poorly. I noticed that some of the girls I talked to who were the rudest here also would complain how people are rude to them. Its a self fulfilling prophesy. You have to learn to not take these things personally.

I imagine some girls here pointed out you come off socially weird? (I'm not calling you socially weird, I'm just going off of what you are saying that you have social anxiety and Aspergers).

most people here are polite, but it can be easy to remember only the ones who were dicks. I've had a few girls openly say things to me that I never hear in the west. (We Americans have better manners then people want to give us credit for, women included). I could see why you would be upset.

though sometimes this can be a good thing, some of the girls I hooked up with gave me blunt feedback, usually not asked for but it was very helpful.

One of the things about the Philippines is that some people are so sensitive yet can be so insensitive to others.

Every country will have its dick bags and jerk offs, you just have to learn to avoid these people.

Sounds like the Philippines is just not for you. That's okay! Thailand might be your country to chill. Whatever makes you happy.

They lack any sort of class or grace. One of the first things I noticed at the airport.

And they're constantly talking down to you. I was at a Korean/Japanese spot recently, and a damn good one at that, while getting some lunch. The moment I walked in staff started doing that stupid OA (overacting) nonsense where they're laughing and trying to chum around with you to gain your trust seem likable. I get seated and they start crowding me and explaining what individual menu items are in some goofy, babytalk until I snapped at them and said I completely understand that Yakisoba is 'Japanese pancit'. I can see the fucking pictures on the fucking menu.

If you observe their interaction with locals, it's all even-keeled and levelheaded for the most part. Then they turn to you and start mimicking a fake American accent. "Hi, I'm Rick from Daly City and I just moved in right next door to you. What's poppin, bro!" [Image: tard.gif]

Reading through this thread makes me think of Scott Adam's theory about 2 movies. The guys who love the Phils and those who hate it are seeing the same material through different lenses. No minds will be changed. If you hate it, feel free to stop going on and on about it. It's a big world out there.

Noticed that from such a rift in the vlogging and expat community here. Say a single negative thing about their newly adopted country and they're all in arms and ready to fight. No one notices the truth here until it turns bloody red or black and blue.

Not really...

We've got 4 pages now with plenty of negatives and no one's up in arms. I'd say the positive side has actually been fairly quiet on this one.

I'm going with Duke Main's lenses theory.

Talking about expats living in the country, not RVF people.

Maine and Canadian lobsters are the same animal. Prove me wrong.
