They aren’t kidding when they say your metabolism slows as you age. At 25 I could lose weight at 2000 calories/day. Not at 40+.
I am 36. I'll be 37 in November.
When I was in my 20s, I could eat as much as I wanted and maintain my weight with ease. I could literally just switch from beer to liquor and the weight would come off.
Now, not so much.
