As per your advice in the dance game thread. Get their attention, gauge reaction, then move in. Most of them, as soon as I get their attention they back off strongly.

I've considered this, but it happens a lot, and/or I'll see the girl dancing will multiple "non threatening" guys throughout the night.
Might just be the spot, the venue I normally go to has a big reputation in the area for having really pretentious clientèle
