Agreed. I've already read that part of the book, but you pointing it out right now helps make a certain situation clear in my life right now.
Same here. The reality is that female shit-testing is eternal. You can by her a McMansion, a Rolls Royce, give her a Macy's charge card, etc. She'll still continue to shit test. We become frustrated at her inability to appreciate a previous action. So it's better to go in the reverse direction, thus saving our sanity and lowering our blood pressure.
