Sometime I go to bars and take my close friends, one is deaf and the other is 83 years old. Sometimes a woman will ask me in private, "Are these people with you? Why" and I look at them and respond "Because they are reliable friends and they are good people."
And they are. For the past 15 years they have been there whenever I needed them and I know they always will and I will be there for them regardless of the piece of ass in front of me.
Never choose your friends based on who is good to game with, or party with. Base your friends on who is going to be there for you. Their ethnicity, short, fat, ugly, bald, education, or political beliefs is irrelevant.
Your friend isn't going to change anytime soon. Find a new friend. That's my advice.
