You'll excuse my ignorance, I just saw this pop up as "BREAKING NEWS" on a European paper and I'd honestly never heard of this guy.
I suppose listening to american hip hop as a European was very much a millenial thing to do and no one else really seems to care. Gen Z seems to listen to hip hop ironically, but millenials, particularly overweight mid-30s women, all seem to have some unexplained fascination with the genre. Perhaps its sort of like russians rushing to buy a McDonalds when the wall came down.
