Female university student reports autistic male for trying to give her a fist bump

This guy may have literal, clinical autism, but this girl is autistic in her own way as well.
This actually seems to be a thing among the younger generation in the US in general -- the generation that grew up with internet and smartphones. I've met so many Americans in their early 20s who seem to have something off about them. They speak without any affect and seem to have difficulties with interpersonal communication and resolving conflict. As a case in point, this girl couldn't handle an awkward interaction in person and so instead goes running to report it to the authorities to deal with it for her.
It's as if these kids are only able to deal with the world through their phones.
Meanwhile, Americans from the generation just before (who are over 30 now), seem to still have the gregarious, theatrical personalities that Americans are known for.
Has anyone else noticed this?
