Ah, but you're thinking like a guy. Women think differently. They absolutely cannot handle competition -- even perceived competition.
It doesn't matter how much game is being spit at them. If they perceive that men have a permanent option, they go insane. They need the perception of controlling the sexual market, more than anything.
This is why women cannot handle the prostitution industry and they try to get porn banned. This is also why women invented and keep pushing myths like "the human trafficking crisis."
I once worked in an office that was primarily women and it gave me insight into how they think. Strange stuff.
