I, too, wondered how to sarcastically reply to a (presumably) grown man who asked me how to not be lazy. I think you accomplished it quite nicely.

Well i'm clearly not that lazy because i'm a full time teacher and a journalist.

What I mean by laziness is having a day off and just hitting the gym, seeing friends, and then reading in the evening.

If I was a tunneled vision goal chaser i'd probably be learning coding or a language instead of pumping iron and reading novels.

But having said that - I know he's also just trying to joke and lighten the mood
