Any Soviet fighting in WWII was 15 at the youngest, for argument's sake. I know there had to have been some sub-15 in the Soviet ranks, but they wouldn't be statistically significant, as the Soviets won the war, so they didn't have to resort to a sub-15 final stand like the Fascists did.
So if we go by 15, that would make those missing men, starting from 1945 and going to 2017, at least 87 years old right now. Most people don't live that long, almost all of that cohort would be dead anyways at this point, war or no war. Anyone older than 15 that also died would be even more likely to be dead as well by now, war or no war.
One big difference that no one's mentioned between Eastern Europe and the West, and it's the elephant in the room, is obesity. In America, about a 1/3 of people are overweight, and about 2/3 are obese, leaving only 1/3 of women actually available to court for guys that don't have fat-fetishes, which is most guys, even the fat guys.
So basically every guy, fat guys included is messaging the 1/3 of girls that are healthy. In Eastern Europe, on the other hand, the incoming messages to the female population are more spread out, because there's 3 times as many thin ones, so each receives less messages, decreasing her ego.
So Eastern Europe would still be better for men, simply because of the effects of Americans being overweight, but sociologically speaking, their divorce rates are very high, you'll get a thin girl if you go over there, but a traditional girl, not so much, it's not a traditional culture. If you do find a girl that is traditional, she's going to be very family oriented and getting her to emigrate isn't an instant sell.
What you can find there is a career woman (mid 20's plus) that looks for guys with their act together, and there, you have a huge edge, because an American woman that looks for men with their act together has her choice of suitors that don't care about her age and make a lot of money and are willing to work 60 plus hours a week for a chance to have sex with her as long she allows them to. Meanwhile, an Eastern European woman looking for the same has a lot of difficulty, as Eastern European men that have their act together will generally want a much younger woman, and also, there's far fewer Eastern European men with their act together as a percentage of their population.
So if you're going for the older woman (mid 20's plus) with a career, Eastern Europe does offer a huge edge versus the West. If you're going for a younger woman, you also get an edge, but the edge isn't as big as in Asia, and don't expect to find a traditional woman in the sense of what you can find in Vietnam, for example.
