Extremely interesting update from Bill Andrews on the progress of the Libella clinical study. There was some new safety concerns associated with the viral vector, not the gene delivered, that now seems to be solved. (Although there is still some risk involved in these treatments as of yet.)
Anyway, first patient, 72 yo man with terminal Alzheimer`s diagnosis is scheduled for treatment on the 12/10/2018! I`m very excited about this since I really believe it will work. And by work I mean age reversal, not "just" curing Alzheimer`s disease. So it will be this year that it started at least, (technically speaking) as I wrote in the OP. Of course there are still a few things that could go wrong here. But if it works, it will change the world.
