I train my girls to always look their best at all times when their around me. When I can tell they put in real thought to their appearence, I let them know both verbally and sexually. When they don't, I don't complement their appearance at all (maybe even say something like "I don't like that dress, it doesn't complement you well") and let them initiate sex.
They usually get the point quickly. A womans level of effort into her appearance is a direct reflection of the level of respect she has for her man, and women know this.
