Most of the stuff written on here is quite accurate about the D.R. but, i think this place has been getting a bad rap from people who only travel to the tourist destinations or read what some monger wrote. Punta cana: Just don't it. This is all inclusive central, more for couples, and not much night life(close to cap cana so it tries to maintain a conservative approach to marketing to tourist) Chicks working the resorts wont risk losing the job they have.
