1st) Not diminish your accomplishment but tourists, especially Latinas, are all too easy to get the phone number and/or FB. But nice work, has she reached out to you yet? If she is here for a limited time why would you wait to hit her up? The best sex I ever had was from a girl I approached on a train that I stayed in touch with over a few months.
2nd) This is a shitty situation, I'd advise ejecting from this scene as soon as you realized that it was a no-win for you and speak with every other girl in the bar except these girls because if your friend doesn't kill any chance that you have her friend definately will. If her friend is bored (or boring) then that friend will eventually sabotage your attempt. Either through shit bagging on you latter in the night or your target will focus on the friend to make sure the friend is having a good time, or more likely you girl will just associate you with this anticlimatic exhange even though its her friends fault. If your friend is a buzz killthats bad news.
You taking your friends stool when he was gone was a bad move becuase 1) Kinda of creepy 2) It looks like you'd back stab your friend for a girl 3) She should be moving closer to you and not the other way around. It looks like you care too much. This one is probably a lost cuase but if you have her number see what you can do with it and hit her up.
