Then a Jewish group like this calls them an anti-semite, and the one hand they'll make a big point to deny it, but then also make a big point about how the group "doesn't represent Jews", and it's been "hijacked" by "liberals". And eventually, they'll turn it around to paint Jews as the REAL victims in this situation.
It's like when some beta boyfriend hears about his girlfriend getting banged out at a party, and instantly rationalizes it saying she was "confused", and that the big mean guy at the party must have taken advantage of her, even though it's the fourth time this has happened. He doesn't like what's happening, but he's scared of the idea of a break-up, so he winds up working even harder for her approval.
