I've tried Tinder a couple of times and had zero productive matches with girls I would consider up to my standards and no dates, yet regularly meet girls in person who tell me I'm good looking. I suspect it's a matter of not being quite in that top tier of conventionally attractive guys, but having good enough game that girls perceive me to be better looking than I actually am. With Tinder there's just a few photos so only guys whose main attribute is looks will obviously do the best.
