I'm not disagreeing, but another aspect is that women are often unaware when they're being hit on. I've had girlfriends tell me about interactions they've had with other men, and it was obvious to me what their intentions were, yet my girlfriends have been mostly oblivious. These men just get seen as nice, not sexual.
