Not to be obnoxious, but make sure you do your research and are on the right side of things. It's still possible to do it - many people do it every year. But the surveillance on residents has been increasing due to the growth in citizenship requests and under the table schemes.
Earlier this year over 1.000 Brazilians had their citizenships cancelled for fraud - their setup was clearly absurd but these types of occurrences have been making authorities more mindful of applications.
