By the way - an animal taken in by PETA is getting killed most of the time. They do not even wait for adoption, euthanasia is their game. They want all the uselesse undeserving eaters to have zero pets. Of course their bosses are certain to have multiple dogs in their mansions, but no dogs or cats for you.
Either way - elephants or tigers simply cannot be held adequately there. The idea came from different times and we have to acknowledge that. Not everything with old tradition is good and valuable.
