Sorry english is not my first language and I realized the title is confusing, I should have asked "Have you ever picked up a girl after you have been acting beta."
I think I will leave her alone, really I understand you shouldn't be so needy for a girl, but I cannot help myself with this one and it is driving me crazy, so I think it is the best. It is just that she has a very unique and soft face and I have been receiving confusing signals from her.
To explain better ths situation though, I have seen her walking around since some time ago, I thought she looked nice but I never really cared too much. One day I started to notice that she noticed me, since I went very well dressed to find another girl at the afternoon and I saw her staring at me, since then I tried to make eye contact with her when I saw her around but she was avoiding it. One of her closest friends is in the social circle of my friends but she has a very poor opinion of me.
I have seen the girl I like when my friends are reunited outside the school and her friend invites her, but I never talked to her since she was with that friend who doesn't like me and I have been waiting for a subtle moment instead of in front of everyone. Still I caught her looking at me at occasions when we were walking through the hall, during the last two weeks I started to see her ther a lot more often I actually was getting uncomfortable about how usually I was seeing her around because I noticed she was avoiding to look at me, so I started to do the same a little awkwardly, her friends kind of noticed it and I noticed they were giggling when I walked close.
Finally the other day I was walking with a very cute female friend and I noticed she was staring at me directly when she saw me with her, my friend and I went to the cafeteria and when we were on the line and my friend was busy buying I realized the girl and her group of friends came right next to us, so i thought ok this cannot be a coincidence, she is overhearing my conversation, maybe she likes me after all, so I smiled at her and waved my hand, she looked at me surprised and then avoiding eye contact she asked "are you talking to me?" and I said "well yes, I wanted to say hi since I have seen you girls, walking through the hall a lot of times already", she said like "really? I haven't really noticed you". I asked her name and she told it to me while stil looking at another direction. My friend finished buying and we were leaving, so I smiled at her and left.
I was asking myself why she told me she doesn't notice me when it is obvious she does? That is the thing, I don't know how to interpret those signals, maybe she was just playing it aloof or maybe she was just trying to make it clear for me that she is not interested. The next day I saw her a couple of times, I looked at her, but she pretended she didn't noticed me by looking at another direction, though her friends were staring at me. Then that afternoon I found another female friend on that hall and I was saying hello to my friend, then I realized the girl and her friends were very close and staring at me, I pretended I didn't notice them and they left, then I felt like an idiot.
