Ha, I just thought of something. A sapient artificial intelligence is probably a century out of our technological reach, but we're a lot closer when it comes to language translators. So if you want interactive sexbots right now, the way to do it would be to farm out the interactive behavior to remote control from third world call center laborers. When you're fucking your lady robot, you've got the Indian guy providing the dialogue "oh that is veddy veddy good for you be fucking my tight pussy in this fashion veddy much so", and the translator switches it to a Siri voice so you can pretend you aren't just having phone sex with an Indian call center.
