One sex buys timeless staples that never go out of style, can be resoled to last decades, and after a couple weeks to break in, molds perfectly to your feet. And they may buy a few timepieces over their lifetime hitting the double-digit thousands that are marvels of mechanical engineering and ingenuity, that have an understated elegance and civility to be passed down father to son. The other sex will burn 1k on shoes that will be obsolete by the next season and will literally wet their panties for gaudy shiny rocks whose worth is dependent on how exclusive it is (read: make others jealous).*
